IDB is an integrated solution for an outdoor container data centre infrastructure which can quickly be deployed in a short time via factory pre-fabrication.

KSTAR IDB: An Introduction
Structure

- Inlet, outlet and air conditioning pipeline interfaces are reserved in the box while an anti-static floor is installed inside.
- The box has a protection grade of IP55, making it moisture-proof and salt spray-proof (meeting the 600-hour salt spray test), with anti-mold properties.
- The box wall is made of a high-quality rock wool insulation board, with a thickness of 50mm and a thermal conductivity ≤ 0.04w/mK.
- The surface of the box body is painted with special paint. After four processes consisting of sand making, primer, middle-layer and finished paint, the film coating is guaranteed to be at least 120m thick, offering greater durability.
Cooling

- Forward air supply, back air return, cold/hot aisle isolation.
- Uniform temperature and wind pressure in the closed passage to avoid local hot spots.
- Close to the heat source of the cabinet, the IDB System provides accurate air supply, reducing the loss of cool air while increasing the capacity for cooling. The system also has energy saving and consumption reduction features for better efficiency.
IDB Customisation
Air-conditioned outdoor units can be positioned according to site conditions or customer requirements (For a single container, the outdoor unit can be placed on the side or top of the container).

- Integrated power distribution, cooling systems, cabinets, sealed aisles, monitoring, firefighting and other major subsystems, factory pre-integration and pre-commissioning shorten the delivery time.
- All components comply with domestic and international technical standards, support plug and play and are easily installed. They also meet the code of international transportation and can be shipped all over the world.

Highly efficient and energy saving
- The IDB series’ fully enclosed structure and sealed hot and cold aisles result in improved cooling performance and reduced energy consumption.
- Thanks to the highly efficient power modular, the UPS system efficiency is increased to 96.7 percent.
- Our self-developed row precision air conditioners with double EC fans, electronic expansion valves and variable frequency driver, saves energy.

Intelligent Management
- The centralised monitoring system monitors the status of running, the mains, ambient temperature, etc.
- Supports various alarms, including audible & visual alarms, SMS, telephone, email, etc.
- Utilises the remote monitoring platform to identify areas that are unattended, minimising operational and maintenance costs.

Safety and Reliability
- Fully enclosed design and compliance with IP55 make the IDB series suited for various working conditions.
- The redundancy design of key equipment ensures a stable running system.
- The multi-level automatic alarm function provides voice alarm, telephone voice alarm, network video surveillance, etc.
- The built-in automatic fire alarm and fire extinguishing device act to prevent and control fire ahead of time.
